Launched in 1998 by the United Nations, the 16 Days Campaign is a global campaign which takes place annually from 25 November to 10 December (International Human Rights Day).
On the 19 February 2020, SABC Education launched a campaign to raise awareness and drive public education focusing on the scourge of Femicide and Rape, that continues to haunt South Africa.
