SABC 1 will host the soccer tournament, providing SA soccer fans an opportunity to watch a total of 28 matches live and 4 delayed. The African Cup of Nations Competition starts on SABC 1 on Saturday, the 14th January to Sunday, the 05th February 2017.

SABC has partnered with Mafikizolo, Dj Maphorisa & Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania in the theme song of the campaign “Colours of Africa” which is the soundtrack that will be driving the SABC campaign for AFCON 2017.
