At a business breakfast hosted by Eskom on 22 July 2014 in Bloemfontein the Broadcast Facilities manager for the Free State and Northern Cape, Refiloe Maraka gave a presentation on the green initiatives he and his team took to cut electricity costs and more effectively use the heat-exchange pump installed at the SABC buildings in Bloemfontein, Kimberley and Platfontein.
