SA long-distance star set sights on Soweto Marathon, City-to-City ultra-marathon

South African long-distance star Ntsindiso Mphakathi has set his sights on winning both the Soweto Marathon and the City-to-City ultra-marathon in the same year.

Representing Intsika Running Club, Mphakathi secured victory in the 50km ultra-marathon from Centurion to Johannesburg earlier this year.

Last year, he became the first South African in twelve years to claim the Soweto Marathon title, and on Sunday, he aims to defend his crown, hoping to become a back-to-back champion.
