The Brazilians will face Egyptian side Pyramids FC in a two-legged final, with the matches scheduled for 24 May and 1 June. Victory in the final would see Sundowns qualify for the CAF Super Cup, where they would face either RS Berkane of Morocco or Tanzania’s Simba SC.
The CAF Super Cup is a one-off fixture and comes with significant financial rewards, with the winners set to receive $500,000 and the runners-up $250,000.
