According to Hendricks, World Netball had requested seven weeks to complete its investigation, and only two weeks remain before the findings are handed over to the national Olympic body.
He assured the public that the full details of the matter would be revealed once the report is received. Hendricks also confirmed that SASCOC will conduct its own review after receiving the final report from World Netball.
“We've been informed via correspondent that this process should take around sevens week from them so this process should be wrapped up in the next two weeks, and this investigation must not be compromised because it relies on witnesses who give evidence. I've advised the minister and the portfolio committee chairperson to allow this matter to unfold, and once it is complete, we will perform the necessary inspections.”
