Bafana will face Tanzania and Mozambique in two encounters to be played on Friday this week and Tuesday next week at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Broos addressed the media ahead of their first training session in Polokwane today.
“We play friendly games. I think it’s a good opportunity for everyone to prove themselves to show their qualities for us to make evaluations after these two friendly games. Sundowns has always been very important in the national team. We will do it without the Sundowns players and having too many players from one club is not good.”
Meanwhile, AmaZulu midfielder Tshepang Moremi is one of the players who received the national call up for the first time.
He says he will not disappoint.
“I’m looking forward to keep on improving and I have been working hard to me is the same as playing AFCON and FIFA World Cup I can attack, I can defend.”
Broos made it clear that he will retire after the World Cup next year.
‘The decision will be made after the World Cup. I stop my contract; I stop as a coach. I will not die on the bench. When I stop next year, I can’t be at home with my wife drinking coffee, football will always be there. You will never know maybe I can be an advisor of South Africa or another team or whatever.”
