Premier Soccer League clubs typically add players to their roster effective July 1st in the lead up to the new campaign with that period running until the end of August but has recently been extended to mid-September.

But with Sundowns having qualified for the World Cup this has opened the door for this application to SAFA.

 It's understood the request has been tentatively approved by the local motherbody, however it does still need to be ratified by FIFA with official dates around when exactly Sundowns can officially sign new players.
