Zambia find themselves in Group A alongside hosts Morocco, Mali, and Southern African neighbours Comoros, one of the groups labelled the "group of death."

The 2012 AFCON champions begin their campaign against Mali on 22 December, followed by a clash with Comoros on 26 December, before concluding their group stage against Morocco on 29 December.

Interestingly, this marks the second consecutive AFCON in which Zambia will wrap up their group stage against Morocco, having lost 1-0 to the Atlas Lions in Côte d'Ivoire last year.

Musonda, who plays for FC Magdeburg, will be making his fourth AFCON appearance for Chipolopolo.
