It is the only indoor soccer league in the Province and it prides itself with providing a platform for professionals to unwind and engage in healthy competition outside their work commitments. Professionals meet every Tuesday and Thursday at Debeers indoor stadium in Kimberley, to unwind. The league was established six year ago and has witnessed significant growth, with an increasing demand for team participation. It is also committed to youth development, offering training programs that instil the principles of soccer in young footballers. Chairperson of the League is Kgatliso Manake.
“We want to see this league growing .currently we have 6 teams. We want to have more teams. There is a much more demand for indoor soccer pin the northern cape province.so far iam extremely happy of how things gave been unfolding. The league has grown in kips and biunds, players from diverse backgrounds playing in the league and there is room for improvement."
The team says it has been an incredible journey and they are looking forward to more life-changing moments. They are expected to jet off to Shanghai later this year to compete and they are hopeful they will bring the trophy home. Lehlogonolo Jokozela is one of the players.
“For me to be part of this league or team, it feels good, because it is a brotherhood and it also helps you with fitness. it allowed me especially when it comes to fitness, to push myself. i even did a comrade marathon this year. I must mention that it is very important was very proud."
