Kamanga was officially declared duly elected after all eight other contenders failed to meet the constitutional requirements set by FAZ.

With this victory, Kamanga will lead FAZ for the 2025-2029 term, continuing his tenure at the helm of Zambian football.  FAZ Electoral Committee Chairperson Ronald Hatoongo explains the process leading up to Kamangas election, “So they were nine contested in this position and out of those nine eight were invited only one candidate presented documents that were in order and his name is Kamanga Andrew.

By virtue of powers that are vested in me by the first statutes I Ronald Hatoongo being the retaining officer  do here by  declared Kamanga Andrew in duly elected FAZ President for the period 2025 to 2029”
