Human is expecting more of the same against Italy when the incoming tour begins in Pretoria this coming weekend.
The Springboks will play Italy twice, followed by Georgia, and the forward pack in particular is relishing the challenge.
Human says the Boks will be able to plan for Italy better than for the Barbarians, because Italy has a body of work, while the Baabaas were a collection of individuals.
“The Barbarians is not playing week in week out. So, I don’t think we tried to do a lot of analysis on them, especially individually. Unfortunately, they have not played the week before, so obviously you must go and have a look at all the different teams they are playing and we tried to have a look at them. Obviously, this week it is a proper test match team that plays regularly, so I think we can do even more homework on them. That’s the big difference between the two,” says Human.
