The South Africans showed prolific form throughout the tournament winning all their games to triumph in the season ending showpiece.

The Blitzboks were unbeaten in the tournament. They dismissed France, Great Britain and 2025 league winners Argentina in the group stage. The South Africans then went on to comprehensively beat New Zealand 26-5 in the semi's. In the final, the team held it's nerve and beat 1 of this season's form teams, Spain, 19-5. Selvyn Davids was the player of the final and probably the tournament as well. He says the team worked hard on the mental aspect of the game.

“This was our most consistent tournament but i think the main thing was what the coach told us, just stay in the moment it doesn’t matter if it goes good or bad if you stay in the moment there will be success,” Davids said.

Blitzboks Coach, Philip Snyman says the talent and skill in the team cannot be questioned. He also touched on the mental aspects of the game and is happy that the Blitzboks showed what they are truly capable of.

“And I think this weekend our attack our defense and our mental side and I think we were also very hungry to make things right so I think all and all a great and composed tournament for us and from the first game we set a solid foundation and we kept on building towards the final when it matters most they produced the goods and I'm really proud of the guys,” Snyman said.

It's the team's 5th men's Series title, and first since 2021.
