The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) appointed the Swiss national as Copper Queens coach on a three-year deal in January this year.

Channel Africa Sport reached out to FAZ spokesperson Sydney Mungala, who refuted the claims made by the media.

“As the Football Association of Zambia, we would like to set the record straight regarding the non-payment of the Zambia national team coach, Nora Hauptle.

These reports are untrue. The position regarding her salary is that she has a contract with FAZ, and part of her salary is paid by government,” said Mungala.
