This is alongside hosts Morocco, Uganda, and Tanzania. Zambia will face Morocco for the second time after the two teams met in the last edition of the competition held in Algeria.  

The team will also face stiff competition from Uganda and Tanzania, whose footballing development has been growing at a fast rate.  

The TotalEnergies CAF Under-17 AFCON will take place between 30 March and 19 April 2025 in Morocco, and the top four teams will qualify for the 2025 FIFA Under-17 World Cup, which will be hosted by Qatar.
