The team will also face stiff competition from Uganda and Tanzania, whose footballing development has been growing at a fast rate.
The TotalEnergies CAF Under-17 AFCON will take place between 30 March and 19 April 2025 in Morocco, and the top four teams will qualify for the 2025 FIFA Under-17 World Cup, which will be hosted by Qatar.
