South Africa (SA) secured qualification after beating Malawi 2-0 in the second leg qualifier over the weekend.

Coach Molefi Ntseki has spoken about the possible challenges in selecting the squad for the tournament.

Ntseki says, "CHAN tournament player selection is a very difficult one. For example, if you are looking at a key player and the pre-season starts, the club can say the player is not ready for the competition. So we are looking at every player whether playing or not playing."
