Former Super Eagles player, Duke Udi said that inviting Ahmed Musa was not a problem as Musa remains a World class player. He however advised Eric Chelle not to invite players he would not use at the World Cup qualifiers:
Musa has been in top form for Sai Masu Gida, with eight goals and two assists in the ongoing 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League."
