Following their recent participation in the Unity Cup held in London, where Ghana fell to Nigeria but secured a win over Trinidad and Tobago, the national team will return to competitive action in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.
The Black Stars are set to face Chad and Mali, two sides they have previously defeated, as they look to solidify their quest for a place at the global tournament.
Addo highlighted that preparations are well underway, with the immediate target being to secure maximum points in their away fixture against Chad.
“Our focus is clear, we must take all points against Chad to stay on course,” Addo stated, underlining the team’s commitment to progressing towards qualification.
The September matches mark a crucial phase for Ghana, who are seeking a return to the FIFA World Cup stage following their group-stage exit at the 2022 edition in Qatar.
