New Zealand defeated the West Indies by eight runs to make it to the final. The Kiwis won the toss and elected to bat first, they scored 128 for 9 in their 20 overs.

They struggled with the bat, while the Windies Deandra Dottin took four wickets for 22.

However, the West Indies also struggled and could only manage 120 for 8, losing by eight runs.

Eden Carson took three wickets for 29 runs.
