Barcelona celebrate Copa del Rey final triumph over Real Madrid

Date: Apr 28, 2025

Barcelona's 3-2 victory in the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid sparked wild celebrations among the club's supporters.

The players, coaching staff, and club President Joan Laporta revelled in the triumph on the pitch at Seville's La Cartuja Stadium.

In the heart of Catalonia, fans gathered at the iconic Canaletas fountain, marking their first trophy in two years.

The Blaugrana faithful are now dreaming of a potential treble, with their side still competing in the Champions League and La Liga.

Ferran Torres, who played a pivotal role in the victory, reflected on the gruelling encounter. "It was the most physically demanding match, no doubt," he said. "We've shown we're a top-class team and we never give up. It feels even sweeter when it's against Madrid in such a tough battle."

Frenkie de Jong, instrumental in midfield, acknowledged Real Madrid's quality but hailed Barcelona's resilience. "We started really well, but they pushed us hard because they have players with immense talent," he said.

"We've celebrated a bit, we'll celebrate a bit more tonight, and then it's time to focus on Inter."
