The arrest came after the Home Affairs Department raised concerns about a group of foreign nationals that may have misrepresented themselves when applying for Visas to come into the country.
It is alleged that they came into the country to train as security personnel since April this year.
However, the police say it looks like the group has been doing military training
Mpumalanga Police Spokesperson Donald Mdluli says, “There are about 95 foreign nationals who are here. For now, they are apprehended. We believe they could have contravened some of the regulations interims of immigrations. This place, according to Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA), is designated for security training, but now is a military base.
