Earlier on Saturday, his remains were handed over to the SA National Defence Force for a military send-off as part of the category two state funeral accorded to him by SA President, Cyril Ramaphosa. Ramaphosa is expected to deliver a eulogy at the funeral service.
Mabuza died last week in a Johannesburg hospital at the age of 64.
