This is according to Botswana Political analyst, Pamela Dube.
All eyes are on Botswana's newly elected President, Duma Boko, as he embarks on his first term following a historic inauguration inGaborone last Friday.
Boko, the leader of the Umbrella for Democratic Change, brought an end to the Botswana Democratic Party's three-decade rule. Now, he faces the significant task of selecting his cabinet and forming a government to guide the small, landlocked nation.
Speaking to Channel Africa, Dube pointed out that that the current Botswana Vice President who's in place from the Alliance for Progressives, Ndaba Nkosinathi Gaolathe is one of those key players going to play a very critical role in fixing the country’s economy.
"So, to me, running the country will not be easier for Boko, but at least Batswana have an indication of where he wants to see the country,” she expressed.
