Trump, Harris in last ditch effort to woo US voters

Date: Nov 4, 2024

Presidential nominees in the United States will continue their late blitz of key swing states on the eve Election Day when ballots start being tabulated.

Nearly 75 million people have cast ballots in early voting across states, around 47% of the number of people that voted in the 2020 election.

Democratic nominee Kamala Harris will spend the day in the key state of Pennsylvania while her Republican opponent former President Donald Trump will be in North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Michigan.

It has been crunch time for the last number of weeks for both Harris and Trump and it all comes to a head this week when we’ll know President Joe Biden’s replacement in the White House.

With polls consistently showing a tight race until the finish both nationally and in key battleground states that will essentially decide the Electoral College outcome, the campaigns are delivering their closing arguments.

Harris striking optimistic tone telling a rally in Michigan Sunday that they had momentum, a clear mood shift in her camp.

Trump in Pennsylvania on Sunday promising to fix what he says Democrats broke from illegal immigration to inflation while again casting aspersions on the integrity of US election; his criminal cases looming large were he to lose this week.
