Kidnapped special needs learner found alive in SA

Police is South Africa (SA) say a 19-year-old special needs learner who was kidnapped in the city of Bloemfontein earlier this month, has been found alive

Kamogelo Baukudi, a learner from the city’s Martie du Plessis Special School was kidnapped on the June 5 while on his way home from school.

Police Spokesperson, Motantsi Makhele says Baukudi was safely located and rescued in the town of Wepener in the early hours of Friday. Five men, aged between 20 and 29, have been arrested. This brings the total number of arrests in the case to six.
The suspects will appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
