This decision came shortly after Adetshina's withdrawal from the prestigious pageant.
The PA's Deputy President, Kenny Kunene, confirmed that the party's urgent legal action to prevent Adetshina from participating in the upcoming Miss SA pageant, scheduled for Saturday, will no longer be pursued.
The controversy began when the Department of Home Affairs uncovered preliminary evidence suggesting fraudulent activities and identity theft by Adetshina's mother, leading to an investigation into her citizenship status.
The findings prompted the PA to seek an interdict against Adetshina's participation in the pageant.
Kunene expressed satisfaction with the outcome, stating, "Her withdrawal aligns with the resolution we sought from the court. It became clear to her that our legal stance was strong, and victory in court was imminent. Therefore, we find it unnecessary to continue with the proceedings as her withdrawal has effectively achieved our objective."
