The bus was travelling from Zimbabwe to Johannesburg when it lost control and overturned last night.

The injured passengers have been taken to hospitals in Louis Trichardt and Elim.

Ramathuba’s Spokesperson Thilivhali Muavha says the Premier is urging motorists to adhere to road rules.

“Premier Ramathuba emphasised the critical importance of road safety, particularly on long-distance routes frequently used by buses and heavy-duty vehicles. She called on all road users, including bus drivers, operators of heavy-duty vehicles and drivers of light-duty vehicles, to exercise the utmost vigilance and strictly adhere to traffic regulations.”
