Lamola participated in the 12th High Level Meeting of the Regional Oversight Mechanism of the Peace, Security and Co-operation (PSC) Framework for DRC. 

The PSC Framework is an initiative aimed at addressing the structural causes of instability and recurring cycles of conflict in the eastern DRC and the Great Lakes region. 

He says the meeting also discussed the situation in South Sudan and Sudan where they are calling for cessation of hostilities in both countries.
