Opposition parties yesterday lamented that Independence Day is a painful reminder that the freedom war veterans fought for remains elusive.
They said the late President, Robert Mugabe, his successor Emmerson Mnangagwa and governing Zanu PF, have failed to deliver on the promise of a free Zimbabwe for all since 1980.
