This declaration comes in the wake of the Namibian Presidential and National Assembly elections, which saw citizens casting their votes yesterday.
Mokonyane, speaking to the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) in Windhoek, articulated that the ANC's commitment to SWAPO will persist irrespective of the election outcomes and the potential shift in governing power.
She emphasised the ANC's readiness to collaborate with any party that the Namibian electorate entrusts with office.
Reflecting on the historical ties between the two parties, Mokonyane remarked, "A party in power represents the people of that country. We can't ignore it. But the party that has waged a struggle for independence and decolonisation is a party that you can't wish away with it in power and without it in power."
