Wine, born Robert Kyagulanyi, has been a vocal critic of Uganda’s government, repeatedly condemning what he describes as gross human rights violations under Museveni’s rule. His latest remarks include criticism of the international community, accusing global powers of failing to hold the Ugandan government accountable for its alleged abuses.
“We are aware that the international community is enabling Uganda’s current government,” Wine said, expressing frustration over what he perceives as insufficient global pressure on Museveni’s administration.
