The party kept its promise to protest during the visit of Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Zelenskyy had to cancel part of his first visit to SA on Thursday, after an overnight Russian missile and drone attack on Ukraine's Capital Kyiv.
Also the South African (SA) Communist Party (SACP) was set to stage protests on Thursday against Zelenskyy’s official visit.
The Presidency says the visit provides both countries with an opportunity to further bilateral cooperation and explore areas of cooperation with the objective of supporting efforts to bring about lasting peace in the Russia-Ukraine war.
