This visit is anticipated to fortify bilateral relations and pave the way for the inaugural session of the SA-Angola bi-national commission set for 2025 in Angola.
The historical bonds shared by the two nations will be celebrated and further strengthened as Lourenço and his SA counterpart, President Cyril Ramaphosa, address a plenary session of a Business Forum.
This forum is expected to be a cornerstone of the visit, highlighting the mutual economic interests and potential for increased cooperation.
Minister Khumbudzo Ntshahveni, representing SAs Presidency, has emphasised the significance of this visit, stating, "The visit will not only reinforce our relations but also focus on laying the groundwork for the bi-national commission. Moreover, it will serve as a platform for our heads of state to discuss regional, continental, and global issues of shared concern."
