Aid relief group Gift of the Givers says it's inundated with people reporting their loved ones missing.

This after heavy rain caused severe floods in the area more than 1000 people have been displaced.

The Provincial Government Spokesperson, Khuselwe Rantjie, says post-mortems on 83 bodies have been completed.

Ranjie says 56 bodies have been released to the bereaved families. Five bodies remain unidentified.
