Among the bills is the Criminal Offences Amendment Bill, also known as the Anti-Witchcraft Bill, which aims to stop witchcraft accusations and related human rights violations.
The President has argued that he cannot assent to the bill because it would have a negative financial impact on the state. However, Bagbin has challenged the President's reasoning and claimed that he was misinformed about the bills' processes.
Bagbin said he would state Article 53 of the constitution to express his position and invite comments from other members of parliament. He said he would do so this week.
"The President has not been properly advised and the President has not been properly informed of the processes these bills have gone through," Bagbin said.
