This comes a few days after the meeting between SA President Cyril Ramaphosa and Trump sparked discourse about the meaning of the crosses. Trump said the crosses were graves of victims of white genocide.
It has since emerged that the crosses were temporarily erected during a protest against the killing of a farmer and his wife.
However, there’s a monument on top of a hill on the side of the N1 between Mokopane and Polokwane in Limpopo. The Plaasmoorde Monument has thousands of white crosses in memory of murdered white farmers.
FFPlus Limpopo leader, Andre Moss says, "The FF Plus is very glad towards President Trump to show the video, we have been fighting in Parliament, through our previous leader, Dr Groenewald to make murders a priority, to bring back community-based commander systems and bring back specialised police units that investigate farm murders so that the spotlight can be on them in Parliament.”
