Uganda's opposition leader calls for moral uprising against President Museveni

Uganda's opposition leader, Bobi Wine, has called for civil disobedience and what he called a moral uprising against President Yoweri Museveni, who has been in power for 38 years.

Wine said he feared for his life because the regime was bent on eliminating all challengers. His political party, the National Unity Platform, filed a case with the high court in Kampala on yesterday to compel security agencies to release 18 of its supporters who've been missing since the unrest during the 2021 election campaign.

Well, the President of the National Unity Platform, that is NUP, Robert Kyagulanyi, popularly known as Wine said he's going to use different tactics, different approach which he never clearly elaborated to organize the masses in order to remove Museveni.

Civil disobedience here in Uganda is not allowed in the country according to the constitution and the laws of the country and he might face arrest in case he tries. the unrest during the 2021 election campaign.
