Speaking at a ceremony commemorating the 100-day countdown to the main event, which will feature a prominent air show this September, Modise emphasised the importance of collaborative efforts among nations.
Modise articulated a vision of co-operation, stating, "When nations engage in dialogue, participate in joint activities, and train together, mutual trust is built, reducing global suspicion. SA's influential role is integral to ensuring stability not only locally but throughout Africa."
Modise reminded attendees that SA's own journey to becoming a harmonious, non-sexist, and non-racial society was forged through dialogue, underscoring the nation's commitment to peaceful resolutions over military interventions.
