Uganda’s military Chief, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has arrived in Rwanda to meet with President Paul Kagame, as fears grow over the advance of M23 rebels in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
The group has captured large areas in the region, raising concerns about a wider conflict.
Kainerugaba, the son of President Yoweri Museveni, revealed that the two nations are planning to sign a defence agreement in response to the escalating crisis.
