Persistent rainy conditions may lead to localised flooding in low-lying regions and areas with poor drainage in the Western Cape.
The Weather Service has forecast strong winds reaching up to 65 km/h across the inland parts of the Western, Northern and Eastern Cape.
Temperatures are expected to plummet, and rough sea conditions are also predicted, posing a serious threat to small vessels and coastal activities.
The strong winds could also cause delays on the road and create hazards for high-sided vehicles along national routes. Power lines could also be affected.
