Kasakuwere, who had to flee the nation following the ousting of the late President Robert Mugabe by military intervention, expressed concerns over the potential for these allegations to result in personal harassment.
Kasakuwere criticised the current administration's quest for legitimacy, suggesting that their inability to achieve it has led them to persistently seek a scapegoat for their shortcomings.
He highlighted the lack of consensus within the party regarding the removal of Mugabe and condemned the subsequent governance as undemocratic and unjust.
According to Kasakuwere, the ruling party has continued to exploit the nation's legal system to their advantage, failing to uphold democratic principles and justice.
