Ninety-four political activists and journalist Blessed Mhlanga, who were recently arrested, had been held at the facility.
They were released last week on bail ranging from $100 to $500 each, after a long period of detention at the prison.
The activists were arrested on March 31, during protests to force President Emmerson Mnangagwa to step down.
