Leungo Masire addressed those in attending Chweneyagae’s memorial service at the Mmabatho Convention Centre in Mahikeng, North West Province.
Chweneyagae passed away last Tuesday in Pretoria, Gauteng Province.
Masire adds they were all passionate about acting, however, Chweneyagae always stood out because of how playful and funny he was since acting requires one to play around with ideas.
"Don’t be afraid to make a fool of yourself, know how to improvise, and most importantly, discipline; and that’s how he approached his work," adds Maseri.
"In 2000 we were both cast on our first television series called Orlando, written by Paul Grootboom and Aubrey Sekhabi, where he played a ‘Tsotsi’ for the very first time on screen. What I loved about him is that every single character he was given, he excelled at it," says Masire.
