The first day of jury selection in the trial of the United States (US) Rapper and Music Producer, Sean "Diddy" Combs has wrapped up with 19 jurors moving on to the next stage. The remaining potential jurors are of diverse backgrounds and ages. They include financial analysts, teachers, scientists and cashiers. Most of the possible women jurors have experienced domestic violence or sexual assault, or know someone who has.

The musician is accused of sex trafficking, prostitution and racketeering. Combs has denied all the charges.
