This as the 15th Commonwealth Regional Conference of Heads of Anti-Corruption Agencies in Africa continues in Cape Town today.

This conference unites leaders from 21 African nations, Botswana, Cameroon, Eswatini, Ghana, Gabon, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, and Zambia.

The aim of the conference is develop actionable strategies under the theme: "Enhancing Inclusive Participation of State and Non-State Actors to Prevent and Combat Corruption".

The conference will run until Friday.

Mothibi says they are now turning to use of technology to secure good results of their work.

"An important part as we discussed on Wednesday was the use of technology because as you know cyber space is really been used by those who do white collar crimes, corruption, fraud.

So we are seeking to ensure that we are sharing some of the developments here. We have got an expert from United Kingdom who have presented around the use of Artificial Intelligent (AI). And out of that, there's going to be a program and SIU is already doing some data analytics.

Data modelling, so that we can determine the exposures, that builds towards the AI as well, the tool that we use."
