The appearance by Ramaphosa in the House comes shortly after his visit to the United States (US). His trip is not part of the questions, however, if there is a question that is related to the visit, it can be raised during a follow-up question.

One of the questions that the president will answer include measures that government has put in place for job creation and stimulating economic growth to shield citizens from the high cost of basic necessities.

This is in light of the increase of costs of the average household food basket by nearly 40% above the rate of inflation. Another question is related to the Commission of Inquiry he announced to investigate whether there were attempts to prevent investigations, or prosecution, of apartheid-era crimes.
