SA province resumes concrete wall construction along Mozambique border

South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal provincial government  has resumed construction of a concrete wall along the South Africa/Mozambique border to curb the theft of motor vehicles and the movement of illicit goods. 

This after years of delays. The construction of the 160-kilometer-long wall  is expected to be concluded next year. Spokesperson for the Member of Executive Council for Transport and Human Settlements in the Kwazulu Natal province, Ndabezinhle Sibiya explains some of  the reasons for the necessity of the wall
