Siyakhangela Ndevu is testifying in the Enyobeni Inquest sitting at Mdantsane Magistrate's Court in the Eastern Cape Province.

The probe is investigating if anyone can be held liable for the death of the young people in the town of Scenary Park. Ndevu was cross examined on Thursday by the legal representative of the families as well as that of his former employee, Thembisa Diko.

He testified that he was not aware that as the tavern manager, the health and safety of the patrons was his responsibility as stipulated in the municipal bylaws.
