Naude was shot dead last Thursday in the town of Parow and another man was wounded. His murder comes after his associate, Mark Lifman was gunned down in November 2024 outside a mall in the city of Cape Town.

The pair and 12 others are accused of being involved in the murder of Brian Wainstein in 2017, known as the steroid king. Naude's killing reportedly brings to five the number of accused in the Wainstein murder case who were gunned down in the past few years.
