The woman, a Web Designer by profession, is reportedly the girlfriend of Darren Wilken, a 35-year-old man arrested last week after being found in possession of over 10 million images and videos of child pornography.  

Police Spokesperson Amanda van Wyk confirmed the arrest, adding that the woman is expected to appear before the Randburg Magistrates' Court on Monday.  

An investigation by the Police Serial and Electronic Units uncovered evidence linking the woman to the crimes, including possession of the child pornography materials.

These were discovered on various electronic devices seized during an operation conducted on Friday, 17 January 2025. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
